An innovative software consultancy in the FinTech space is seeking a Ruby on Rails engineer with REST API and Microservices experience to add to their team down in the South Bay. The company provides client-centered web development services in a variety of industry spheres. The duties of this Ruby on Rails engineer revolve around the full life cycle web development of various applications using cutting edge, progressive technologies.  

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on coding expertise throughout their career and have minimally 5 years of professional development in Ruby on Rails. In addition to that, engineers for the position must have worked in Microservices and have an interest in expanding their skillset into other technologies like Golang potentially. Self-motivation and a desire for success are essential!

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of professional Software Engineering experience
  • Expert level Ruby on Rails development experience
  • Previous experience in an Agile environment
  • Strong knowledge of Microservices based architecture

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Prior experience in FinTech
  • Hands on experience with AWS
  • Familiar with REST API's
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field
