One of Canada’s premiere employers in the consulting industry are looking to continue to expand their DevOps team with an ambitious and skilled DevOps Engineer. You will be working in a killer Downtown office for a company that has an international footprint and clients throughout the Fortune 500.

The ideal candidate will be working on large-scale projects, primarily involving automation expansion and cloud migration. You will be developing in an environment that is 80% Windows, 20% Linux. To really have your application stand out, a candidate will has worked extensively with Azure in the past, as well as having heavy scripting experience in Bash, Python, or PowerShell. Automation will be conducted using Jenkins, but experience with other tools in this space will be a definite asset. Any previous exposure to configuration management with Ansible or Chef is considered a plus, and this Engineer will be leading Microservices adoption.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in both a Windows and Linux environment
  • Azure Hands-On Expierience/Certification
  • Experience using Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience deploying Docker containers
  • Exposure to Ansible, Chef, or  or similar tools
  • An understanding of Source control systems – Git or Maven

  • 70%  Public Cloud Environment (Azure)
  • 30% Hybrid Server Environment (some .NET-built applications)

Daily Responsibilities

  • 75% Hands On
  • 25% Team Collaboration

  • Competitive Salary: Up to $127K/year, DOE
